WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is a health profession specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.
Chiropractic practitioners essentially rely upon non-invasive treatment methods and will refer patients to medical practitioners should medication or surgery be indicated. This approach is further reinforced by chiropractors in their promotion of healthy lifestyles, exercise and diet.
Chiropractic education and training is extensive and in South Africa, a Masters Degree in Chiropractic is awarded after a six-year program.
SERVICES
MEDICAL AIDS
Our practice is contracted into most medical aids and we can submit your claim to them. Our rates fall under the prescribed scheme rates but ultimately the responsibility remains yours to ensure payment. Should there be a short payment from your medical aid we will issue you with a statement.
